By joining together as a collective, OurPower members have the power to build and own a renewable energy company, so you can secure a clean and cheaper energy future.

The first stage of this journey is to save you money on your electricity bill with a discounted deal we've negotiated.

Here’s how you can start saving.

1) Upload your bill.

No commitment, no hassle. Just register a few details and upload your latest electricity bill to find out how much you can save through OurPower.

2) Review your offer.

You’ll receive an offer with the best electricity deal we can get for members at the time. We work with a broker to negotiate with retailers for both residents and businesses.

3) Sign on and save.

Accept your offer and start saving on your energy bill. Once you accept, you’ll officially become a member of the OurPower community and will have access to other member benefits.

4) Celebrate & share!

Invite others to upload their bills so they can enjoy the savings too. Plus, the more people who join, the greater our collective bargaining power. We will regularly be working to get better deals for you as the OurPower community grows.

5) Join the clean energy movement and grow your savings.

You will also have the choice to invest the money you saved on your energy bill in the OurPower Renewable Energy Fund. The fund supports development of community-owned local renewable energy projects that return regular dividends to shareholders (that’s contributing OurPower members) by generating profits through the sale of renewable energy certificates and solar feed-in tariffs. Ultimately, we aim to have enough projects running that we can directly power the entire OurPower community with clean and affordable energy.

This is your opportunity to participate in the transition to a clean, community-secured and owned energy economy!

The OurPower fund is still in development. Potential projects include local rooftop solar, solar farms, smart metering systems, and battery storage. We are currently piloting a commercial building rooftop solar project in Noosa Heads to prove the model. Stay tuned to learn more about the fund and how you can get involved as it progresses
